reason #2525 on why you should have a dashcam: posting someone else’s bad behavior is more than enough.

I really think he waiting too long to signal. And swerved dangerously. Twice.

About a minute later (and most likely because he probably noticed my dashcams), he drove sensibly around me and others.

At least I got a good laugh out of it.

Goodnight Oppo.

I see people like that every day. At times I too become one but driving here is not like in  America.

But I must ask, why did you escalate the situation? I can listen to your engine revving up when you notice the Jeep testing the waters....

I’ve done it before, because I’m a jackass, but I don’t think it’s a safe maneuver .

I do it, only when the other driver is clearly being an asshat though.

I see someone coming up behind slower traffic like this and they signal, I’d let them in no problem.

If this guy had come from behind, weaving through traffic, he’s getting pinched off.

Just like people trying to merge for a turn, if they signal, I will usually make a spot for them. I f they just sit there braking looking over their shoulder without signalling, they’re going to miss their turn.

I may also be a jackass.....

The thing is... we’re not cops, it’s not our job to police traffic, and by doing so we’re actively putting ourselves in danger. I know there’s a visceral feeling of justice that we need to satiate at times but... the more we realize it’s not our job the less we suffer when faced with these people, and the less guilt we feel when we break the traffic code by accident.

Making some asshat’s day a little harder brings me nothing but joy. I don’t feel guilty about it and I definitely don’t suffer. Idiots need to be called out when they’re being idiots, they don’t need their hands held.

The fact is, there simply aren’t enough cops to actively enforce/protect us on the roadways, I would much rather call these asshats out on their BS then let them continue on to endanger/inconvenience  everyone else around them.

He’s in a blind spot area, so I was trying to pass when I noticed how close he was tailgating the other driver in his lane. This way, he fall behind me safely and pass me safely when he felt like it. I didn’t see the turn signal until he forced his way in front of me. I guess he thought I was going to box him in.

I would have backed off so he could get in front of me, but that could go sideways also because some drivers don’t pass vehicles on the left at a reasonable speed. Especially on 2 and 3 lane roads.

I drive defensively and with purpose. I don’t mess around when driving.

I know some may think I’m too aggressive, and that’s fine.

My response: I’m 46 and haven’t been pulled over since I was 19.
